The 2012 Election dates are as follows:

• Tuesday, February 28, 2012 Presidential Primary
• Tuesday, May 8, 2012
• Tuesday, August 7, 2012 Primary Election
• Tuesday, November 6, 2012 Presidential General Election

Voter Registration

Michigan Voter Registration Application

Every registered voter receives a Voter Registration Card when their registration is received and processed in the Clerk’s Office.  The card lists your polling place location on Election Day.  Contact the Clerk’s Office or visit the Michigan Votes section of the State of Michigan website to determine if you are registered in the City of Walker.

To register to vote, visit your Secretary of State’s Office or Clerk’s Office.  You can also complete the Mail-In Registration form and mail the form to the Clerk’s Office.

Absentee Ballots

Absent Voter Ballot Application

For those voters that will be absent from the community or wish to vote and qualify for voting in an Election by Absentee Ballot may do so by contacting the Clerk’s Office or completing the Application for Absent Voter’s Ballot and returning to the Clerk’s Office prior to Election Day.  Please contact the Clerk's Office for an application.
